Airport > Pinnawela > Habarana (190 KMS and approximately 04 Hour journey)
On arrival greeting and welcome with garlands by a representative of Adventure De Ceylon.
Transfer to Habarana. Visit the Pinnawela elephant orphanage en route.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - is a home for about 60 elephants (out of which around 50 are baby elephants) found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are being cared, fed and trained by the wild life authority. The best time for your visit is at 9 in the morning, when you will have the opportunity of seeing these ‘babes’ being bottle-fed. You could also see the elephants having their daily baths at a river close by.

HABARANA > SIGIRIYA > POLONNARUWA > MINNERIYA > HABARANA (115 kms and approximately 03 to 04 hours journey)
Sigiriya, a massive rock in the green scrub jungle, is perhaps the most memorable place for visitors to Sri Lanka. The site was known from ancient times as a hermitage for Buddhist monks. A well-planed monastic complex included caved temples, bathing pools, lovely ponds and Asia's oldest surviving landscaped gardens. Today Sigiriya is famous for its frescoes painted in the pocket of the rock. The "Lion stairway", the "mirror wall" and the "water gardens" are it's other highlights.
Continue to Polonnaruwa.
Do a city tour of Polonnaruwa (2h visit), Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka in 11th and 12th centuries AD which too a world heritage site. You will see here famous the Gal Viharaya where four splendid statues of Lord Buddha are to be found.
Proceed to Minneriya and do a safari of the Minneriya National Park by jeep 4x4. The extent of the Minneriya National Park is about 8,889 hectares. There are wet-lands in this National Park, which have international importance, animal and plant species, which are plenty in dry zone, are found in this park. Wild elephants, various amphibians, local and immigrant bird species are plenty in this park.
Return to Hotel for Overnight Stay.
HABARANA > DAMBULLA > KANDY (101 kms and approximately 02 to 03 hours journey)
Visit the Dambulla Rock temple where you will climb the rock. (1h30 visit) This temple was donated by King Walagambahu in the first century BC to monks. This is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples, is a complex of five caves with over 2000sq meters of paintings and these caves contains over 150 images.
Proceed to Matale, Spice Gardens - visit a spice garden to see the different spices that Sri Lanka is famous for. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed.
Continue to Kandy. Arrive & Check in to Hotel.
The last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a world heritage site. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1806, visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center and a gem museum and lapidary. The evening is the best time to visit the temple of the tooth relic and thereafter witness a traditional cultural dance show.

KANDY > PERADENIYA > KANDY (15 kms and approximately 01 hours journey)
Proceed to Peradeniya. Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Peradeniya - Botanical Gardens was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.

KANDY > NUWARA ELIYA (80 kms and approximately 02 hours journey)
En route to Nuwara Eliya Visit a Tea factory.
Tea Plantation - visit a tea plantation and a tea factory where one the best teas in the world is produced. You will be told all about the process of Manufacturing tea and also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Check-in to the hotel.
City Tour of Nuwara Eliya in the evening. Nuwara Eliya - is Sri Lanka's premier hill resort with a fine bracing mountain climate. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country producing 50% of the world’s best tea. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 ft) is located here. Nuwara Eliya is the location for one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in Asia.

NUWARA ELIYA > HORTON PLAIN'S > NUWARA ELIYA (67 kms and approximately 02 hours journey)
Horton Plains National Park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest. This plateau at an altitude of 2,100–2,300 metres (6,900–7,500 ft) is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. This region was designated a national park in 1988. It is also a popular tourist destination and is situated 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from Ohiya, 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from the world famous Ohiya Gap/Dondra Watch and 32 kilometres (20 mi) from Nuwara Eliya.

NUWARA ELIYA > ELLA (60 kms and approximately 02 hours journey)
Arrive and Check into Hotel.
In the evening engage on the following activities.
1. Visit Mini Adam’s Peak.
2. Visit the 9 arches bridge in Ella.

ELLA > YALA (130 kms and approximately 03 hours journey)
Arrive & Check into Hotel.
In the evening, do jeep safari at the Yala National Park.
Yala - Situated 309 kms south of Colombo, Yala is approximately 1259 kms in extent and is located in the southeastern corner of the Island. The terrain is varied, flat plains alternating with rocky out crops. The vegetation ranges from open parkland to dense jungle. The specialty here is the large numbers of Elephants. Yala is the largest national park in Sri Lanka and is the home of wild elephants, wild boar, wild buffalo, leopard, bear, deer and crocodiles. Visitors can also see large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds.

YALA > GALLE > BENTOTA (240 kms and approximately 04 to 05 hours journey)
Galle is the south coast’s major city, whose oldest landmark is the massive 17th century Portuguese and Dutch Fort in which the central city is contained. The journey to Galle is along the palm-fringed beaches passing Hikkaduwa with its beautiful “coral gardens” and exotic tropical fish. Visit the Dutch Fort and the city of Galle. As you walk through the streets you can see strong Dutch influences in the architecture, along with some old British residences and various mosques with Arabic touches.

BENTOTA > COLOMBO (80 kms and approximately 02 hours journey)
Visit the City of Colombo City & Shopping Tour in the evening. Colombo - visit fort and Pettah areas and drive past the 100-year-old clock tower, the old parliament and several British built, colonial buildings. other places of interest are, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Colombo museum, the Bandaranaike memorial international conference hall (BMICH). Also visit the ceramics corporation showrooms, the ODEL unlimited dress boutique and the majestic city shopping complex.
