Day 01

AIRPORT > PINNAWALA > HABARANA (190 kms and approximately 04 to 05 hours journey)

Arrival at Colombo, Bandaranayke International Airport,
On arrival greeting and welcome by a representative of Adventure De Ceylon.
Proceed to Habarana

Visit the Pinnawela elephant orphanage en route.
Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage - is a home for about 60 elephants (out of which around 50 are baby elephants) found abandoned or orphaned in the wild, They are being cared, fed and trained by the wild life authority. The best time for your visit is at 9 in the morning, when you will have the opportunity of seeing these ‘babes’ being bottle-fed. You could also see the elephants having their daily baths at a river close by.

Day 02

HABARANA > POLONNARUWA > MINNERIYA > HABARANA (100 kms and approximately 02 to 03 hours journey)

After Breakfast leave to Polonnaruwa.
Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka in 11th and 12th centuries AD which too a world heritage site. You will see here famous the Gal Viharaya where four splendid statues of Lord Buddha are to be found.

Proceed to Minneriya and do a safari of the Minneriya National Park by jeep 4x4. The extent of the Minneriya National Park is about 8,889 hectares. There are wet-lands in this National Park, which have international importance, animal and plant species, which are plenty in dry zone, are found in this park. Wild elephants, various amphibians, local and immigrant bird species are plenty in this park.

Day 03

HABARANA > SIGIRIYA > DAMBULLA > ANURADHAPURA (98 kms and approximately 02 to 03 hours journey)

After Breakfast, proceed to Anuradhapura.
Visit the archeological sites in Anuradhapura
Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Lankan civilization. The city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies 205 km north of the current capital Colombo in Sri Lanka's North Central Province, on the banks of the historic Malvathu Oya. From the 4th century BC, it was the capital of Sri Lanka until the beginning of the 11th century AD. During this period it remained one of the most stable and durable centers of political power and urban life in South Asia. The ancient city, considered sacred to the Buddhist world, is today surrounded by monasteries covering an area of over sixteen square miles (40 km²).

ANURADHAPURA > JAFFNA (198 kms and approximately 04 to 05 hours journey)

After Breakfast, Lease to Jaffna.

Day 05

JAFFNA > NALLUR > NAGADEEPA >DELFT ISLAND (80 kms and approximately 02 hours journey)

After Breakfast proceed to Nagadeepa.

Visit Nagadeepa, Access to Nagadeepa is from the village of Kurikattuwan (Kurikadduwan) of the island of Punkudutivu which is a 20 minute boat ride over the Palk Bay. The island of Punkudutivu is connected by a causeway over the Palk Bay to Kayts, the largest island of the cluster.
Visit Delft Island : Called ‘Pasuthivu’ or ’Nedunthivu’ (the island of cows) by natives, it was named ‘Illha das Vaka’ by the Portuguese and renamed Delft by the Dutch, after the town in the Netherlands. It covers approximately 4,700 hectares and is sparsely populated. Delft has emerged relatively unscathed from the recently ended conflict and has kept its charm from the old days. Except for the bus, there are no vehicles in the island and the visit to the island is usually made in the trailer of a tractor.

Arrive back to Jaffna and Visit Nallur kovil.

Day 06

JAFFNA > TRINCOMALEE (240 kms and approximately 05 to 06 hours journey)

After Breakfast, Leave to Trincomalee.
Arrive and check into Hotel. Relax at the amazing beach rest of the day.

Day 07

TRINCOMALEE > KONESHWARAM > NILAVELI > TINCOMALEE

After Breakfast, Visit the Koneshwaram Temple.
Thirukoneswaram, or the Holy Koneswaram Temple, is a Hindu temple in Thirukonamalai (Trincomalee) on the east coast of Sri Lanka. The temple lies on a high rocky promontory surrounded on three sides by the sea. It bears a history of over three millennia with its records indicating its roots in 1580 BC. This, still beautiful, historical monument is what remains of what once was a sprawling temple city equal to the ancient city of Madurai, India.

Visit the Nilaveli beach.
Return to Hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 08

TRINCOMALEE > PASSIKUDAH (112 kms and approximately 03 hours journey)

After Breakfast, Leave to Passikudha.
Arrive and Check into Hotel.

Relax by the beach or By the Pool rest of the day.

Day 10

PASSIKUDAH > DAMBANA > KANDY (195 kms and approximately 04 hours journey)

After Breakfast, Leave to Kandy Visiting the veddah village In Dabana.
Dambana is a jungle village. The Sri Lankan Vedda people (indigenous people of Sri Lanka) are still living in this jungle village. vedda of Dambana has own tradition and culture. Many tourists like to discover indigenous people of Sri Lanka. Vedda has original language. It is called as Vedda language it is different from Sinhala language. If you vist Dambana you Can learn about tradition of these people.

Arrive to Kandy and Check into Hotel for Overnight Stay.
Day 11

KANDY > PERADENIYA > KANDY (15 kms and approximately 45 Minutes journey)

After Breakfast, Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden.
Peradeniya - Botanical Gardens was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.

Visit the Kandy City. The last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a world heritage site. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1806, visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center and a gem museum and lapidary. The evening is the best time to visit the temple of the tooth relic and thereafter witness a traditional cultural dance show.

Return to hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 12

KANDY > NUWARA ELIYA (76 kms and approximately 03 hours journey)

After Breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
En route to Nuwara Eliya Visit a Tea factory.

Tea Plantation - visit a tea plantation and a tea factory where one the best teas in the world is produced. You will be told all about the process of manufacturing tea and also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.

Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Check-in to the hotel.

City Tour of Nuwara Eliya in the evening.
Nuwara Eliya - is Sri Lanka's premier hill resort with a fine bracing mountain climate. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country producing 50% of the world’s best tea. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 ft) is located here. Nuwara Eliya is the location for one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in Asia.

Day 13

NUWARA ELIYA > COLOMBO (200 kms and approximately 04 to 05 hours journey)

After Breakfast, Leave to Colombo.
Arrive & Visit fort and Pettah areas and drive past the 100-year-old clock tower, the old parliament and several British built, colonial buildings. Other places of interest are, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Colombo museum, the Bandaranaike memorial international conference hall (BMICH). Also visit the ceramics corporation showrooms, the ODEL unlimited dress boutique and the majestic city shopping complex.

Day 14

COLOMBO > AIRPORT (30 kms and approximately 1 Hour journey)

After Breakfast proceed to Airport for the departure.
